![]() The text body must be included in that winmail.dat, CGPro stores it that way when it comes from Outlook, and when the data is pushed to Exchange via IMAP, it accepts the data but strips off the winmail.dat. I'm almost 100% positive this has to do with what Outlook does when it sends mail (attaches/creates the winmail.dat). The material that doesn't come through is the text of the original message. I say partially because the To, From, Subject, etc and all the headers and attachments come through with no problem. However, something on the Exchange server is partially stripping all the emails of data. I looked at the log of the IMAP transfer with imapsync and the full message is sent via IMAP to Exchange. The last two methods are preferable since they are "set and forget" with almost zero post-migration tweaking. were copied over but again, nearly all Sent Items and many emails in INBOX came over blank. That is, all the calendar events, contacts, messages, subfolders, etc. This worked as well as the Migration Wizard. HOWEVER, the biggest issue here was several email messages, and in fact almost the entire Sent Items folder, consisted of blank emails. It transferred all the mailboxes correctly but duplicated any aliases I had for mailboxes as another unique mailbox easy enough to fix by deleting the alias on the CGPro server. ![]() * Use the Exchange 2003 Migration Wizard. There are no problems with this method except that the Contacts folder gets munged and it is laborious and time consuming. * Export the user's entire mailbox as PST, then load all the folders into the Exchange account. I have to migrate around 30 users from CGPro to Exchange 2003. ![]()
